Kerry Bengoe

Canada’s dark legacy of Indian Residential schools is well documented.
Today is Orange Shirt Day in Canada, a day to spread awareness about survivors of this country’s residential school system.
But does that tell the full story?
Here is my interview with Kerry Benjoe, who graduated from the last Indian Residential school in Lebret, Saskatchewan in the early 90’s.
This is not a story of abuses but of happy memories.
This is her story of the last generation of Indian residential school students.

Real People. Real Conversations.
